CASE HARDENING STEELS LOW ALLOY 8620, E230, E200, 750, 4620, S1214, 1020, 1030. Low alloy, low hardenability case hardening steel for lightly stressed components. Offers a tougher core than a plain carbon steel. Can be used as a heat treatable steel and offers reasonable weldability.
CASE HARDENING STEEL NICKLE CHROME EN36A, EN39B, 4317, Hi Case, 7210 Nickel chromium case hardening steel. Used in applications requiring a very hard wear resisting surface with a tough core. Suitable for highly stressed gears and shafts.
O1 HARDENING STEELS ARNE, AMUTITS, AMUTITS S, DF2, GAUGE PLATE , K720, KETOS, K460, TOH , 2842, SILVER STEEL, K630, K605 A good cold work tool steel used for press tools and stamping.
High Tensile TYPE 1 EN25, EN26, 4340, 6580, 705, 718 VCN 150, V155, VCN 200 Characterised by high strength, toughness and fatique resistance. Used for gears, shafts and axles of large sections
High Tensile TYPE 2 4140, 4150, 709M, 7225, M1, VCL140, V320, 4340 Chromium molybdenum high tensile steel. Supplied 18-22HRc (Hardness Rockwell) Characterised by high strength and good impact properties with good machinability, but low weldability. Typical applications are: Bearings, Bushes, Cylinders (Various), Gears, Conveyor Rolls, Hydraulic Shafts, Hollow Shafts, Hollow Parts (Various), Nuts and Rings.
COLDWORK TOOL STEELS A2 K305, K329, VHB RIGOR, XW-10, 2363 Cold Work Tool Steels are used for cutting and pressing tools, for dies and knives, for stamping and drawing tools, hobs, thread rolling tools and in many other applications due to their typical properties - high hardness, good toughness and compressive strength and high wear resistance.
D2A AIRDI 150, 2379, K105, K110, K340, SC25, XW41, XW5 VANADIS CALMAX Suitable for very long run tooling where adhesive wear is the dominating problem. Its very good combination of extremely high wear resistance and toughness.

D3A 2080, SC23, SVERKER 1, K100 Excellent abrasion/ wear resistance
H13 ADIC, 2344, 8407, W302, OVAR SUPREME, K340 High strength at elevated temperatures, high hot wear resistance, good toughness, thermal conductivity and resistant to hot cracking. Suitable for hot forming tools, extrusion tools, forging dies, pressure casting tools, hot shear knives and tools for plastic industry. Standard high speed steel with excellent toughness.
M2A S600, CAPITAL 562, ASP23 Characteristic include high working hardness, high wear hardness, excellent toughness, high retention of hardness and red hardness.
S1 S101A, AB65, K245, K455, M4, SRS, S7, S101, 2767, 2399, COMPAX Shock resisting tool steel with excellent toughness edge retention and wear resistance. Used for cutting tools for heavy plate, shear blades and cold punching.
P20 M200, M201, M210, 2311, 2312, 718, STARMOULD IMPAX SUPREME, M238 Chrome manganese molybdenum steel. P20 is a pre hardened high tensile nitriding tool steel which offers ready machineability in the hardened and tempered condition.
CORROSION RESISTANT PLASTIC MOULD STEELS ELMAX, STAVAX, 420 MFQ, M310, 2083, 2316 Through hardening corrosion resistant mould steel with very good polishability. Recommended for medium to small moulds Advanced martensitic stainless chromium steel for plastic moulds.
BEARING STEEL SKF-3, R100, EN31, AISL, 52100 High carbon alloy steel which achieves a high degree of hardness with compressive strength and abrasion resistance.
SPRING STEEL AUTOFLEX, XK5155, XK5160 XK9255, K9050, K92585, SUP9, K92615, K1055B, K1050 Spring steel is a low alloy, medium/high, carbon steel or high carbon steel with a very high yield strength. This allows objects made of spring steel to return to their original shape despite significant bending or twisting.
PLAIN CARBON STEELS K1040, K1045, EJL256, XK1340, VALLOUREL VM312, ASSAB 760, MECAVAL 147M Carbon-Manganese-Vanadium Steel, with high yield strength, excellent machining and welding properties. End use: Medium stressed parts. Most common steel used for gears, pins, bushes, washers and wear plates.
CAST IRON SPHEROIDAL GRAPHITE Improve in wear resistance and thermal fatigue resistance. High fracture toughness reduces the degree of fire cracking and helps to extend the campaign time. The high strength spheroidal graphite core overcomes the high loads.
BISALLOY 80, 360 420 480 High strength structural and wear resistant quenched and tempered steels tensile properties and charpy impact toughness
COLD FORMING DIE STEEL HMD5 Flame hardened, high hardness, small strain, good weldability, 55-60 HRC
MARTENSITE STAINLESS STEEL 420, M310, 2316, 431, 440C A through hardening, high tensile stainless steel.

420 is a higher carbon version of grade 410. When fully hardened it is the hardest of this family of stainless steels.
